New Street Square
At New Street Square DAP worked with the artists Jonathan Clarke and Ron Haselden to create a family of work intended as a welcoming addition to an easily accessible environment.Jonathan Clarke's free-standing sculptures are now installed and act as a focal point, drawing the public through the new pedestrian arcade on New Fetter Lane to the square beyond.
Ron Haselden's 40 metre long tapestry of curved neon lights, 'Day and Night, Night and Day', is programmed to run through an infinite number of colourful displays. As the first interactive neon of its kind, the tapestry allows for tenants, residents, and visitors to the site to influence the continually changing designs.
